Adam Starts School & My Fears!

I am honestly so emotional at the thought of my son starting school in September inshallah. I am excited but also scared as h*ll!!

This will be the FIRST time ever I leave my son with someone that’s not my mum or husband and I am not sure I like that feeling right now. I am very attached to my kids and of course being a stay at home mum means I am there for them 24/7. The thought of having someone else take care of him for 6 hours a day is scary.

How do you trust them?

Honest Motherhood – My thoughts / Raw & Real

Do you ever feel like you just need a break sometimes? As guilty as that thought is.

One of my favorite sayings is by Paulo Coelho “If you think adventure is dangerous try routine, it is lethal” And I think that’s what gets to me the most, the “routine”

Kid Friendly Brunch In Dubai

I’ve been to countless brunches, and even though they were perfect for adults, they weren’t so kid friendly.

Kid Friendly Destination – Part 1

However it’s a completely different ball game when you’re a mother of two planning family vacations. Now our holidays have to be kid friendly which means everything from flight time, hotel location, to restaurants and play areas/parks or kids activities. Of course most importantly the safety and security of our kids.

Bath Time

My kids have a serious obsession with water and bath time is definitely the perfect end to their day. They generally spend 20 – 30 minutes in the tub playing and having fun. It’s also sort of relaxing for us knowing it’s closer to bed time! biggrin

We normally just give them a quick wash in the mornings and save the bath time for the evenings, as we noticed it helps them sleep better.
