I saw snow for the first time when I was about 17/18 years old and the excitement I felt was unreal! I was super happy and over the moon. Of course my friends thought that was hilarious seeing me jumping up and down with joy at the sight of real snow! I was adamant about my kids experiencing the same thing I did, but not as late as I did! 😀
The joy and excitement on their faces was so fulfilling! It was an amazing feeling. Adam was keen to make snowman and throw snow at us which he did ALOT! Hana on the other hand wanted to get Adam back for throwing snow at her but he was too fast for her so she never got him but she did get me a few times 😀
Soon as it was light outside we would put our winter gear + snow gloves on and head out to play, it was a mission getting Adam back to the hotel! We stayed at Grand Hotel Stockholm which was central and close to everything, we basically walked everywhere.
I wasn’t as prepared for the snow though. I was so worried about the kids pre travel and shopped so much for them and forgot about myself. But for future reference, I definitely know I need snow boots + proper snow gloves, and ofcourse thicker winter clothes!
